Printable A4 worksheets from the Unit Conversion — Double Number Line teaching tool. The scaffold fades across the page: a whole number line to fill in, then a single jump, then bare conversions, then comparing and using them. Metric only. Worksheet language prints every instruction bilingually for EAL/D students; the numerals and units stay Western and LTR.
The paper
Stage and Measure set which pairs are on offer, Conversions narrows that to the ones you want, and Level chooses the numbers on them — they work independently, so a Stage 3 class can still meet spicy decimals on L and mL.
Sections — and how many of each
The picture is handed over in stages. Fill the number line gives a whole ladder with values missing down both lines. One jump gives the 1 : ratio anchor and a single target. Convert these drops the picture. Bigger, smaller or equal puts < = > between two measurements — some pairs are equal, which is where the marks are won. Use it is short in-context problems. Each section climbs its own ladder.
Options
