Put every number from 1 to 16 into the grid — once each — so that every row and every column works out to the same target. The signs are already there, and the order of operations applies: × and ÷ before + and −.

How to play

Use every number from 1 to 16 exactly once (1 to 9 on a 3 × 3 board). Some are already placed for you.
Each row is read left to right, and each column top to bottom, with the signs in the circles between the squares.
Every row and every column has to work out to the target.
The order of operations applies. Do all the × and ÷ first, left to right, then the + and −, left to right.
3 + 4 × 2 = 3 + 8 = 11 — not 14.
12 ÷ 4 × 3 = 3 × 3 = 9 — not 1.
Tap a number and then a square, or drag a number onto a square. Drag a number off the board, or tap it twice, to take it back. On a keyboard: arrows to move, type the number, Backspace to clear.
Any arrangement that makes every line hit the target counts as solved.
