Random angle type

Snap vertex to protractor T When the vertex and protractor origin are close, they lock together.

Snap arms to 10° marks When an arm is within 3° of a multiple of 10, it snaps to that angle.

Show snap glow Displays a soft cue when the vertex or arms are close to snapping.

Show outer scale Shows the 0–180 scale that starts on the left.

Show inner scale Shows the 0–180 scale that starts on the right.

Drag the protractor body to move it. Drag the red handle to rotate it. Drag the blue arm handles to change the angle. Drag the purple shaded angle, or the vertex, to move the whole angle.

Explore measuring angles with a movable protractor

The angle starts acute. Drag an arm past 90°, 180°, or 360° to explore acute, obtuse, and reflex angles.
